Is there anyway to prevent Macroview DMF (7.3) from always showing Site Collections at the root of the server and instead display the site lower in the hierarchy? I have a site collection (sc) whose URL is "(root)/hr/sc". In MacroView, sc appears as a sibling to hr instead of a child. This confuses my users because the visual hierarchies of SharePoint and MacroView are different. Is there a way to get MacroView to show sc as a child to hr?

Thanks,

Hi GGforce,

MacroView DMF will always present site collections directly under the web application (“Server”) tree node.

If you have one site collection with a URL ‘(root)/hr/sc’ and another one with a URL ‘(root)/hr’, they will be displayed at the same level (like sibling nodes), rather than ‘(root)/hr/sc’ being displayed under ‘(root)/hr’ (like a child node).
