Hello,

I've tried everything under the sun and can't seem to locate the cause of this issue. When I load Macroview DMF 7.4 onto a users Laptop, every program besides(Word, Outlook)Excel works fine. When I look at my Add-ons in Excel I get a message that states MacroView.DMF.Excel2010.vsto cannot be loaded. I can endless try to enable it and even set load behavior in regedit, but still no success.

Things I've tried -
Remove/Reboot/Reinstall Excel
Remove/Reboot/Reinstall Macroview 7.2, 7.4
Trying a different users MacroView.DMF.Excel2010.vsto
Changine load behavior in Regedit
Enabling within Excel Add-ins.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Josh

Hi

The symptoms that you describe indicate that either the VSTO 4.0 runtime or the Office primary interop assemblies (PIA) are not installed. These are prequisite components for the Office add-ins.

The VSTO 4.0 runtime can from downloaded here:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=20479

The Office PIAs can be installed by ensuring that .NET Programmability is enabled for each application in your Office installation. You can verify this by launching the Office installer and selecting add/remove components.

Thanks for the reply Josh. Would this explain why only Excel has the issue and not Word and Outlook?

In the meantime I'll give this a try and see what happens.

Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean

It's possible that your Excel installation is missing .NET Programmability but it is present for Word and Outlook.

Hopefully this resolves your issue.

Josh.
