Hey guys,
I'm generally on top of things, but I just had a pretty bad crash after I upgraded to Adobe X.
I clicked 'Save to SharePoint' and I got a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error. When I clicked OK, all of Adobe Reader froze up and I was prompted to close it.
Any ideas??? Runyon Canyon

Hi RunyonCanyon,
This problem is due to the additional 'Protected Mode' setting in Adobe 10.
Steps to fix the problem: 1) Open a PDF document and click 'Edit' > 'Preferences'. 2) In the 'General' section make sure that 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' is unchecked. 3) Close the PDF document and then re-open it. When you click 'Save to SharePoint', the MacroView DMF 'SharePoint Save' menu will load as expected.

Thanks for your response. But I am having a worry on the approach.
Disabling Protected Mode means you are opening your Acrobat Reader to security risk and my client is having great concern over it.
Is there any way where I can use MacroView PDF Save As with protected mode in current version. If no then is there any plan in road map to have it as protected mode is part of acrobat family now and macroview won't work by default settings in that case.
Regards Sajid Yousuf

Protected Mode is a new feature of Adobe Reader/Acrobat X. As this is the first major version of Adobe to support this security feature support for third party plug-ins such as MacroView PDF Save is limited.
We have not yet been successful in building a version of the plug-in that supports calling out of the protected mode sandbox and launching the MacroView PDF Save window.
In the short term, unless it becomes possible, the only workaround is to disable protected mode.
