MacroView has accepted an invitation from ILTA to sponsor and speak at the
SharePoint for Legal Symposium that will be held on June 15 and 16 in Downers Grove IL (close to Chicago). The Symposium is open to members of ILTA’s Microsoft Special Interest Group.
The theme of the MacroView presentation will be “Enabling full-function, large-scale Legal Document Management on SharePoint”.
Specifically we will be showing how MacroView Document Management Framework (DMF):
- Enhances the integration of Outlook and SharePoint so that legal users can easily manage their emails and all other documents;
- Makes unique numbering, saving and versioning of documents in SharePoint work as well as a traditional DM system;
- Provides a convenient and intuitive means of harnessing the power of the SharePoint 2010 Search and FAST Search;
- Streamlines management of access permissions at the level of individual documents;
- Handles bulk upload of existing documents and emails;
- Efficiently supports very large document stores in SharePoint, including across global multi-server-farm deployments.
During the presentation we will refer to a number of MacroView DMF implementations that are in production in law firms in USA and Europe. We will also be referring to our ‘ATLAS’ proof-of-concept implementation, which has been loaded with 30,000+ Clients, 165,000+ Matters and over 3 million documents.
